The Library is located next to Nutley High School between
Vincent Place, Chestnut Street and Booth Drive. The address is 93 Booth
Drive. When Booth Drive is closed during school hours, access to the Library
is from Vincent Place.

From the Garden State Parkway North: Exit at number 151(Watchung
Avenue). Turn right onto Watchung and follow directions from Watchung
Avenue.
From Watchung Avenue: Take Watchung Avenue
to the end. At the light, turn right onto East Passaic Avenue. At the
next traffic light, turn left onto Centre St. Travel along Centre for
three more traffic lights. At the third traffic light, turn left onto
Franklin Avenue. Once on Franklin Avenue, go to the next traffic light
and turn right onto Chestnut Street and right again onto Vincent Place(after
Town Hall). The Library is on the right.
From the Garden State Parkway South:
Exit at number 151(Watchung Avenue). Turn left onto Watchung Avenue and
follow directions from Watchung Avenue.
From Route 3 East:
Take the "Passaic Avenue-Nutley" exit which is just after Hoffmann-LaRoche.
On ramp, go straight to stop sign. Turn left onto Ward Avenue. At end
of Ward Avenue turn right onto Ruth Avenue. Continue straight as Ruth
turns into Essex Street and then into Franklin Avenue. Proceed to the
4th. traffic light and turn left onto Chestnut Street, then right onto
Vincent Place. The Library is on the right.
From Route 3 West: Take the "Main
Avenue-Nutley" exit. At the end of the ramp, turn left onto Main
Avenue. Main Avenue will change to Passaic Avenue at Kingsland Street.
Stay on Passaic to Chestnut Street. At 3rd. traffic light, turn right
onto Chestnut, then left on Vincent Place. The Library is on the right.
From Newark: Take Route 21 North to "Nutley-Lyndhurst"
exit. Turn left at end of exit ramp and go straight up Park Avenue to
blinking light. At blinker turn right onto Passaic Avenue. Go to first
traffic light and turn left onto Chestnut Street. Vincent Place is the
second left. The Library is on the right.
Parking
at the Library
When you visit the library, parking is available in several locations
and streets depending upon the time of day and day of the week. Below
are a few places that you can park.
Vincent Place - 1 hour parking, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Park Drive - Free parking on the east side (use the bridge
to cut through the park to get to the library)
Chestnut Street - Free parking between Vincent Place
and Park Drive excluding the bridge
Town Parking Lots - Metered 24/7 parking, one block south
of the Nutley High School
Nutley High School Parking Available after 3 p.m., also
on weekends and when school is closed
Booth Drive - Also available after 3 p.m., on weekends and when
school is closed
